Ok first off... I am sorry that I have not posted anything in a while... tony pointed out that I am a terrible blogger haha... so this update is dedicated to him lol
soooo i guess ill add some things I said to day.... there really arent as many funny ones because I think my classmates are either starting to get used to me or they are opening up and letting their freak flags fly too :) either way, thats awesome.
"Did you do sexual favors for the teacher?"
We have a big paper due in my social policy class and people have started getting in to groups. I asked a friend in my class if he had a group and he said "no, I dont have to write the paper"... I said "what!? how did you manage that? Did you do sexual favors for the teacher? We are all judging you now" lol he looked at me like HECK no! haha he told me that he didnt have to do the paper because he is just auditing the class. I told him " hey man its cool you dont have to lie... Thats how I got through my undergrad... and how the heck do you think a person like me got in to byu??" hahaha! yeah he dosnt talk to me much anymore lol!
"Is it a swimming pool or a sewer?"
i actually dont remember how this one came up in class... but I for some reason asked one of my classmated if it is a swimming pool or a sewer... she tured to me and said, "well you know, if you have kids, sometimes the pool is both!" I looked at her with a straight face and said...."oh no, I mean I like to swim in sewers....." haahah this and we bothacyually laughed really hard at this one cuz obviously she knew i was kidding but i kept the best straight face ever!!!
"Like Vaginal Itch?"
My professor was talking to us about how inorder to be good therapists we are going to need to step out of ourselves and lear to do things that we may not like to do. He said " you will have to feel some kind of discomfort"... I leaned over to the girl in front of me and said " oh like vaginal itch?" haha all she said was "Ewww" and went back to taking notes hahah ... yeah she totally didnt get that one... haha or maybe it hit a little to close to home lol! i like to teach using things people can relate to hahahai was just trying to help her understand ahah!!
Ok, these are just funny things my professors say:
"Jesus was radical!"
hahah i have one professor who is a little bit liberal ( my fave by far... hes just real.. he served his mission in san francisco in the 60s... haha love that guy!) he said that by definition ... conservative want to help you become self suficent, liberals want to get rid of bad laws and create new ones that provide services for people who are poor and radicals are all about empowering the poor and helping them feel a sense of control in their lives.... sooo he said, jesus was radical! haha it weas just funny to hear that phrase at byu!
"Eat it today wear it tomorrow"
Today one of the girls in my class brough cookies for everyone because it was my birthday yesterday (she ran out of butter or she would have brought them ON my biorthday hahah awww sooo sweet!) but the professor grabed one and said mmmmm eat it today wear it tomorrow haha! i laughed so hard cuz i think is still wear a lot of the chocolate that I have eaten haha!
"I like my pasta Baptizes in sauce!"
That same professor was talking about how he hates the spaghtti factory because they never give him enough sauce. he said i like my pasta baptized in sauce... and i dont mean a catholic style sprinkling... i m talking i like mine baptized my emersion! hahahaha we were all laughing... only at buy!!

Things I Said Today...
~"I have wandering hands....."
I said this in class when the instructor tuned off the lights to show a PowerPoint. Someone said to just turn all of the lights off...unless anyone was scared of the dark.... I said "Well I'm not, but the people around me should be ... I have wandering hands"..... HAHAHA some people laughed other people just looked at me like "Is this girl for real?" haah I even had to turn to a girl next to me and say "I'm kidding... I'm really not gonna feel you up I promise!"
~"I'm into sisters...."
So today my professor passed out group assignments. We were divided into groups of 4 to present on a chapter in the text book. After the assignments went out a girl from my class said "Hey you are Melaney right? I think you are in our group." I said "Oh yeah? Who else?" She said "My sister...shes right over there". I responded "SWEET! I'm totally into sisters!" They BOTH looked at me like I was some disturbed lunatic hahah!!! Neither of them even laughed at that hahah... great now they think I'm gonna molest them lol!!! FUNNY!!!!
~"I only dance on tables if there is a pole..."
We were in our research lab and I sat next to a couple of girls in my class that I really like (They are sweet but not sheltered). I sat by one of them at the Graduate Student Welcome Dinner last week. She turned to me to recall a conversation she thought we had where a girl told her she should dance on the table so all of the MSW students would know where to sit at this dinner. I told her we didn't have that conversation, but she swore it was with me. It told her, "I KNOW it wasn't me because I would have said, 'oh! Sorry, I only dance on tables with poles on them.'". HAHHA she and the other girl sitting by us started cracking up lol... yeah that one went over much better!! hahaha
~"Just log in under your porn star name...."
We had an assignment a week ago to take an orientation online and we were supposed to print out the certificate. We also needed the same certificate for another class. A girl asked if there was a way to log in a reprint the certificate. The instructor said that there wasn't and she would have to take the assignment again. She asked how she would do that if her name was already in the computer system (because she had already taken the class online)... so I told her in front of everyone, "Well then just sign in underyour porn star name." She looked at me like, wow did I just hear your right? haha I said "what? doesn't every one have one?... maybe that's Just California...." then some people around me started laughing... even the professor chuckled.. haha the student didn't like it very much hahah!
yes.... these are real things i said...and i said all of these today! hahaha I'm beginning to find out the people in my class that i can get along with and the people i should stay away from :)

Just Some Facts.... a Disclaimer if You Will....
DO NOT READ MY BLOG IF YOU ARE EASILY OFFENDED!
Ok, well anyone who has ever emailed me, received a text message from me, edited any of my papers or is a friend of mine on Facebook... well, basically anyone who knows me, KNOWS that I CANNOT spell. I will do my best to always check my spelling but if I miss one here or there... please don't make any comments on it. Ill be the first to say it... my spelling sucks. I already know it so there really is no reason to point it out. If this is a problem for you then DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON MY BLOG :)
That being said... this blog is all in good fun! It is not intended to offend anyone. Anyone who knows me knows that my the content in this blog is very likely to contain adult material (dirty jokes and innuendos mostly). I will not be looking for ways to make this dirty, but I'm just trying to make you aware that it most likely will happen. If you are easily offended then DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON MY BLOG :)
Next item of business... I go to BYU. I AM MORMON. I am not a Utah Mormon... in fact I'm not a very good Californian Mormon even hahaha!!! When I left for school, I knew it would be a culture shock... and we knew that Provo would be in shock from having me here (mostly because of the adult content that just SPEWS out of my mouth and the random weirdness that IS me!) so this blog will include the awkward exchanges that happen between me and people in Utah. YES I will be making fun of Mormons... YES I will be making fun of me... YES I will be making fun of Utah. As I stated before , this blog is all in good fun. If you will be offended by any of this then DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON MY BLOG :)
And lastly, this is ALL my opinion. NONE of this is fact! This is all a view of the world as I see it, or the things that I think. I just want it to be known that this may not be the same as other people view things. That's the beauty of being human.. we all get to think for ourselves! So, just remember this is all my opinion... you are welcome to disagree with me... I enjoy a good debate !) Just know that I will win.. because its my blog!
